Amhurst Chair

Amhurst Side Chair

The Amhurst Side Chair is a perfect example of how simple design can create a lasting impression. With its clean lines, ladder-back styling, and solid hardwood construction, the Amhurst offers a timeless look that feels equally at home in casual dining spaces, modern farmhouses, and contemporary interiors.

What makes the Amhurst Side Chair unique is its understated, architectural design. The two wide horizontal back slats create a bold visual statement while providing comfortable support. Unlike more ornate dining chairs, the Amhurst relies on balanced proportions and craftsmanship rather than decorative details, allowing the natural beauty of the wood to become the centerpiece.

The gently sculpted solid wood seat is designed for everyday comfort, making the chair equally suited for weeknight dinners, family gatherings, and holiday celebrations. Slightly curved rear legs soften the clean profile and add a subtle sense of movement, creating a design that feels sturdy yet refined.

Handcrafted in Ohio by skilled Amish craftsmen, the Amhurst Side Chair is built from premium solid hardwood using traditional woodworking techniques that ensure exceptional durability and long-term strength. Unlike mass-produced dining chairs made from veneers and engineered materials, the Amhurst is built to withstand years of daily use while maintaining its beauty and structural integrity.

Its versatile ladder-back design complements a wide range of décor styles, including farmhouse, transitional, contemporary, Scandinavian, and casual traditional interiors. The clean silhouette allows the unique grain patterns and character of the hardwood to take center stage, ensuring that each chair is truly one of a kind.
